Ian's story
Ian Collins first worked with Kinetic Communications when he was at Plastic Omnium - you can see the Plastic Omnium case study here. We worked with Ian and his colleagues to change local authority perceptions of plastic bins - from safety nightmare and fire hazard to the Health and Safety Executive recommending plastic bins as superior to the metal versions due to them causing fewer injuries.
When Ian moved to REG Bio-Power and Living Fuels, one of his first calls was to invite Kinetic Communications on board. You can see the Living Fuels case study here. For the last two years, we've been working with Ian and his colleagues to raise the issues of bioliquids, energy from waste and renewable energy - specifically the use of used cooking oil as a fuel for combined heat and power. This has involved close liaison with local authorities and industrial customers, editor visits with national and trade media and lobbying of various government departments.
"They make things happen. It's systematic. They did it for me at my last company and they are still doing it for me now."
Ian Collins, managing director, REG Bio-Power
