Kinetic joins elite CMS group
Birmingham-based Kinetic Communications has become just the eleventh consultancy in the Midlands to achieve the PRCA approved Consultancy Management Standard certificate.
The independently-audited standard, which is based on elements of Investors in People and ISO 9000 with criteria specific to the practice of public relations consultancy, provides clients with assurances of quality, professionalism and on-going performance.
Claire Barker, director at Kinetic Communications, said: “Our focus is always to add as much value as possible to clients and this achievement provides them with measurable benefits because it requires complete transparency.
“We know PR can be seen as a mystical, ‘black art’ in terms of the difference it makes and its return on delivery. But the audit focused on measurability and how we make a tangible difference to our clients’ bottom lines.
“Our auditor was especially impressed that we’ve developed a system whereby we guarantee results for clients. She agreed it addresses the mystery and suspicion that often go hand-in-hand with the PR industry.”
Neil Willoughby, marketing director at waste water treatment solutions company ARM Ltd has just started working with Kinetic. He said Kinetic’s achievement was one of the reasons they had been appointed:
“Entrusting our 60-year-old company reputation to a consultancy is an important decision so it’s very reassuring for us that Kinetic is a member of the PRCA and holds this standard. We already knew they were good but this confirms that they’re among the elite in the PR industry,” he commented.
Peter Howard, of leading design and branding firm PHd design, comments: ""Kinetic are one of those rare PR companies who deliver what they say, they are clear about what is needed and determined about reaching the results. This 'can-do' attitude, which mirrors PHd's approach, is why we choose to work with Kinetic on projects which require that little bit extra.""
Francis Ingham, director general of the PRCA, said: “Well run businesses consistently deliver the results clients are looking for. The Consultancy Management Standard was developed specifically to ensure that PRCA members have the systems and structures in place to meet and exceed clients’ expectations. This is yet more evidence of what a fantastic agency Kinetic is.”
