West Midlands consultancies walk away with Fresh PR Awards trophies
The West Midlands put on a strong showing at the Fresh PR awards in Manchester with Birmingham agencies Kinetic PR and Willoughby PR both walking away with trophies, while Rave Communications also made the shortlist.
The awards ceremony, which is in its second year, recognises the best in regional PR
Angela Podmore, managing director at Kinetic PR, which won the Freshest Internal Communications award, said: “Internal communications used to be the poor relation of public relations. But in a world where anybody, anywhere, anytime can express an opinion it has become the most pertinent tool.”
Kinetic PR was also shortlisted for Freshest Small PR Team and Freshest Young PR Professional for account manager Aimee Postle. Willoughby PR won the award for Freshest Media Relations Campaign and was highly commended for Freshest Consumer Campaign. Rave Communications was shortlisted for Freshest Business to Business Campaign.
